Thermography detects the vascular changes in the blood vessels that are going to feed an early tumour, between 6 -10 years earlier than you would notice on a mammogram. So by that time the tumour is already quite advanced and may well have started metastasising – that’s spreading to other parts of the body; that is not a great balance – you are already eradiating the tissue and then you are offering them a much lower chance of full recovery and survival because it is much later in the process.*
Early detection is incredibility important in breast cancer, because the upset and stress caused to women who are told they got terminal cancer and the impact it has on their families we need to get this right and the way we are approaching this I think within the NHS is not the right way.
We are only looking for breast cancer changes far too late because mammography only picks up when there is already an advanced cancerous lump and it has to be a fairly large size – well over a millimetre before it is going to be visible on an x ray image.
Thermography picks up at a much earlier stage, when the blood vessels are already growing to feed the tiny tumour at a much earlier stage than the mammography process does so early breast screening is really important.*
It is generally recommended that you visit the Thermomammogram Center every twelve months for a routine check-up. However, your Doctor may recommend more frequent visits based on your individual breast health needs.
During a routine check-up, your Clinician will make a Thermomammogram of your breast and generate a report of your breast health. There can be also some advices to use some special nutrition supplements or natural elements to keep or improve your beast health.
Yes, it's a good idea to bring your insurance card, photo ID, and any necessary payment information. You may also want to bring a list of any medications you are taking or any concerns you have about your breast health. There is also some information we provide to be sure the Thermomammogram delivers the best results, advices like not drinking coffee 2 h before,...
It's important to let your clinician know if you have anxiety or fear of the scan. They can work with you to help make your visit more comfortable. It is also important to know that during the vidit, the clinician, or the Thermocheck do not touch your breast, and no radations are emitted, it is a Thermographic camera technology, so it is exactly like taking a picture with your camera at about 50 cm of your breast. That is it.
Maintaining good nutritional and emotional habits can help improve your breast health. Regular Thermomammograms check-ups are also important for preventing and treating breast problems. Your clinican can provide personalized recommendations based on your individual needs.
The length of your appointment will be between 20 to 40 minutes.Your clinician can provide an estimate of how long your appointment will take.
